Representing clients since 2001.

Now in larger offices in Downtown Tallahassee.

Whether you’re a family, individual, design professional, engineer, or small business owner, I will protect your interests and help you navigate challenging legal issues with compassion and an eye on your bottom line. I bring extensive experience and professionalism to every case and customize our support to your individual needs and concerns.

Every case and every client is different.  I have designed my firm as the solution for 'regular people' who need representation that is effective, attuned to client needs, and responsive.  Clients have my email, cell and work numbers, and I try to respond to any inquiry within hours, not weeks.

We are excited about the expansion of the firm. In eighteen short months we have tripled our staff and our space, and are happy to report that our new offices also contain meeting space for depositions and mediations.

Get in touch with me to set up a consultation, or use the contact form at the bottom of this page to enquire whether our services are right for you.

Areas of Practice

Family cases are emotionally charged and fast paced.  I am here to help navigate divorce, child custody, alimony, child support, parenting plans and paternity issues.  Family changes are difficult, and require sound planning and advice.  In addition to litigation of marital and family issues, I also provide family mediation services.

probate and estate

Family legacies are profoundly personal.   I can help you ensure that your Will, your estate plan and your health care directives are up-to-date, especially after a change in your family structure.  Divorce, adoption and marriage all implicate your unique family legacy.  That’s why we offer these services.

Civil law is a broad area of litigation.  It can encompass cases which center on property claims, accidents or injuries, banking, collections, contracts or other matters.  If you need help with a civil matter, please contact me to see if it is something I can help with.  If it isn't, I'm happy to suggest another lawyer or law firm.

The startup and small business marketplace is still a new and fierce frontier that requires legal advice from an attorney who understands the small business dynamic and the demands being a small business owner puts upon you and your family. We suggest an holistic approach, so your company can get the best competitive advantage and you can remain healthy and productive.

For the past eleven years, I have litigated complex construction claims, defending design professionals, engineers, geotechs and contractors.  I have the experience and the industry knowledge to represent you or your firm in a construction dispute or to provide critical advice to you as you are evaluating your options.

FArm and equine law

Farm and equine/animal law is near and dear to me.  As an avid equestrian for 40+ years, I know the ins and outs of breeding, sales, fractional ownership agreements, leases and farm or instructor liability and waivers.  I have experience with rescues, for-profits and associations. If it has four legs and fur, I can probably help you with it.

It is not what a lawyer tells me I may do; but what humanity, reason and justice tell me I ought to do.
